We welcomed 100 attendees on September 21 to Jonathan Schwabish & Alice Feng's session "Applying Racial Equity Awareness in Data Visualization." Schwabish and Feng, the authors of Do No Harm Guide: Applying Equity Awareness in Data Visualization (Urban Institute, 2021), introduced strategies for how data scientists, researchers, and data communicators can take a more purposeful DEI approach to their work.
